Recipe For 2 Personoes

Anchor 1

Ingredients:

  • 300g beef (or chicken), thinly sliced into strips or cubes

  • 2 tbsp ground peanuts

  • 1 tbsp chili powder (adjust to spice preference)

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp suya spice mix (optional, store-bought)

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 1 small tomato, sliced

  • Spicy pepper sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Suya Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine the ground peanuts, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt. You can add suya spice mix if using.

  2. Marinate the Meat: Coat the beef or chicken with the spice mix and drizzle with vegetable oil. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Skewer the Meat: Thread the marinated meat onto skewers.

  4. Grill the Suya: Grill the meat over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired level.

  5. Serve: Serve the Suya with sliced onions, tomatoes, and a side of spicy pepper sauce.
